MOS Burger launched a Teochew Braised Duck Burger at $7.90, available as a rice burger or on a classic bun at the same price, from 23 July 2026 as its National Day item. The combo is $14.80, sriracha mayo fries are $4.70 and the lychee berry drink is $3.80. Inside: braised duck, braised egg, tau pok, cucumber strips and tomato, with a braising sauce packet and a chilli packet on the side.
Braised duck slices, a braised egg, tau pok, cucumber strips and tomato. Two sauces come separate, a rich braising sauce and a chilli one with a mild kick, which is the detail that makes this work: you pour the braising sauce on yourself so the rice patty does not turn to mush in the bag. Choosing between the rice burger and the bun is the actual decision. The rice burger is the closer one to braised duck rice, and it is also the messier one. We rated MOS Burger's National Day showing 7/10 in our NDP 2026 food ratings.
$7.90 for the Braised Duck Rice Burger, and the same $7.90 for the bun version. $14.80 for the Braised Duck Burger Combo. $4.70 for the Sriracha Mayo Fries, which carry a chilli mark on the poster. $3.80 for the Lychee Berry Drink. The combo saves you a little over ordering the three items separately, though not much, so order the fries only if you actually want the sriracha mayo.
It went on sale 23 July 2026 as part of MOS Burger's National Day local flavours push, and the chain has not published an end date. National Day items here usually thin out through the end of August rather than stopping on a stated day, so check with the outlet before making a trip for it. Turning a hawker classic into a rice burger is a well-worn move for MOS, and this is one of the better executions of it.
· Rice burger version is closer to actual braised duck rice, and it falls apart faster. Eat it in the shop.
· Add the braising sauce yourself just before eating, not in the car.
· The sriracha mayo fries are the spicy item on this menu, not the burger.
· No end date has been published. It launched 23 July 2026 as a National Day item, so it will not be around forever.
