Why cold water is the whole product

Regular Milo powder needs hot water to dissolve properly, then ice to cool it, which dilutes it. The van drink never had that problem. These sachets are formulated to mix into cold water directly, which is the only reason the result tastes like the thing you queued for at a school sports day rather than a watered-down iced Milo. That is the entire reason this product exists.

Where to buy them

They rolled out progressively across FairPrice, Sheng Siong, Cold Storage, Giant, Prime and other selected stores, so early on it was worth checking more than one chain. As of August 2026 there is also a promotional pack at $8.95 that comes with limited-edition Sports Day socks, rolled out from 18 August across major supermarkets and e-retailers. Sixty-six cents a cup

Twelve sachets at $7.95 works out to about 66 cents a serving. Against a $2.20 kopitiam iced Milo that is a clear saving, and against scooping from a tin it is more expensive. You are paying for the cold-water formulation and the nostalgia, which is a fair thing to pay for as long as you know that is what you are buying.
