Tampines 1 2D Pink Fashion Academy: Free Bag Charms With $50 Spent
Tampines 1 ran the 2D Pink Fashion Academy at its L1 Atrium from 20 to 26 April 2026, 11am to 9pm daily. Spend $50 (up to two same-day receipts) at participating stores and you got to make your own keychain or bag charm, a denim cupholder or bookmark, and a hair makeover. The charms were the reason we went. The event has ended.

What $50 got you
The whole booth was built out of pink cardboard drawn to look 2D, part of Frasers Property's Green-Coded push. A $30 single receipt got you into the photo set. $50 across a maximum of two same-day receipts at participating stores unlocked everything else.
First stop was the charm station: keychains and bag charms from leftover fabric, plus crochet flower brooches and hairpins by Vintage Wknd. Then a denim cupholder or bookmark, made after you finished the Singapore Fashion Council's mystery game. Hair makeovers by The Moments salon ran only 12pm to 2pm and 6pm to 8pm, so timing mattered. Another Tampines freebie that went viral later in the year: the Durian Ninja durian giveaway.
Was it worth it
If you were shopping at Tampines 1 anyway, yes. The charms were cute and properly made, not a sticker-and-keyring freebie. If you were going only for the charm, $50 at a fashion store is a lot for a keychain. The styling sessions on the last weekend were the bonus: Vintage Wknd's founder ran four capsule wardrobe masterclasses using Love, Bonito and Playdress pieces.
