Mandai's year-end holiday event is Zoolympix: Stars of Mandai Festive Challenge, from 7 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. Kids take on 10 wildlife-themed physical challenges at the Zoolympix Village on Mandai Wildlife East Lawn (daily, 10am to 7pm), collect stamps and earn a Zoolympian medal. Local residents get free Village access and a $10 voucher with selected park tickets; Mandai lists the event as ticketed.
There is no Santa or snow here. Mandai's year-end event is a sports day built around the Stars of Mandai, its best-known animals. Each challenge copies a real animal's skill: swing like Ah Meng the orangutan, balance like Karma the red panda, race like Jubilee. There are 10 challenges in five types: agility, balance, discovery, survival and a wildlife-protection one.
The main arena is the Zoolympix Village on Mandai Wildlife East Lawn, open daily from 10am to 7pm. Finish the challenges, fill your activity card with stamps and you earn a Zoolympian medal. There are also five Zoolympix Outposts spread across the parks with bonus challenges and photo spots.

Honest take: this is for kids roughly primary-school age who need to burn energy. If you wanted Christmas lights and snow, USS Christmas or the Great Christmas Village are closer to that.
Mandai lists Zoolympix as a ticketed event across Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, Rainforest Wild Adventure, Bird Paradise and Mandai Wildlife East. Its event page does not show a separate Village-only price as of 30 October 2026.
Local residents get free access to Zoolympix Village plus a $10 retail and F&B voucher when they buy selected attraction admission. T&Cs apply, so check which tickets qualify before you buy.
If you plan to come back more than once over the holidays, Mandai's Destination Pass (from S$60, five days of access across multiple parks) or the Friends of Mandai membership ($58 a month for five wildlife parks plus one indoor attraction) are worth doing the maths on. Members also get extra retail perks during the event.
Launch weekend, 7 to 9 November, 10am to 5pm on Mandai Wildlife East Lawn: family activities, a Tamarind the Tapir meet and greet, gachapon and a windmill workshop. Go then if you can.
Partner extras: AIA runs a Merry-thon digital trail at Rainforest Wild Adventure until 3 January 2027; finish the checkpoints to redeem a pair of Happy Socks and enter a lucky draw. Anywheel gives free rides to or from the official Mandai Wildlife East and West stations, and its Pedal and Play bike race earns a free cycling pass if you finish three laps. POSB has a Smiley Mart money game in the Village, and Families for Life has a bouncy castle.
Food and shop deals: show a completed activity card and spend $50 nett at Penguin Cove Restaurant in Bird Paradise for a free Penguin Lychee Parfait or Penguin Tiramisu (worth $9.90). A completed card also gets you the Zoolympix plush for $9 (usually $12) at The Mandai Shop, River Wonders Shop and Night Safari Shop. Ah Meng Restaurant and Mama Panda Kitchen have family meal bundles. The event runs through Christmas and the school holidays; plan the rest of the break with our school holidays guide and Christmas long weekend guide.
· Village hours are 10am to 7pm. Do the physical challenges in the morning before the lawn heats up.
· Keep your completed activity card. It unlocks the $9 plush and the free Penguin Cove dessert.
· Locals: check which admission tickets qualify for free Village entry and the $10 voucher before paying.
· Cycling in on Anywheel is free if you start or end at an official Mandai station.
