KFC x Pokemon Singapore 2026: Merch, Menu and Themed Stores

KFC x Pokemon Singapore 2026: Merch, Menu and Themed Stores

KFC Singapore's Pokemon collab, The Ultimate Launch, runs 19 August to 29 September 2026. All 71 outlets turn into Pokemon GO PokeStops and Gyms, five get type-themed makeovers, a Japanese Nanban menu lands from $3.95, and the merch is buyable with a food purchase, from a $12.95 Poke Ball bucket up to a $99 Charizard jacket.

What changes at KFC from 19 August

Two things happen at once. Every one of the 71 KFC outlets in Singapore becomes a PokeStop and a Gym in Pokemon GO, which is the part that will quietly decide where a lot of people eat lunch for six weeks. On top of that, five outlets get full type themes with their own decor and photo spots: NEX is Water, Jem is Fire, Kallang is Electric, Compass One is Ghost, and Jurong Point is Grass. Everything else, the menu and the merch, runs chain-wide. If you have been tracking the bigger Nintendo news this year, we also wrote up what is actually confirmed about Super Nintendo World at USS, and KFC's Karnival at SCAPE is the closest thing they have run to this before.

The merch, and what you have to buy to get each piece

None of it is free. Every item is a paid add-on attached to a specific order, and the drop dates are split, so a 19 August trip will not get you the whole set. From 19 August: the reversible everyday blind pouch is $14.95 with a Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box, in four designs (Pikachu, Eevee, Mew, Snorlax), at all outlets except Singapore Zoo and Sentosa. Also from 19 August, a Pokemon sticker sheet comes with breakfast meals ordered with Milo (Original Recipe Twister, American Twister, O.R. Riser, or O.R. Riser with Egg), before 11am at breakfast outlets. From 9 September: the Poke Ball bucket is $12.95 with a 5-piece chicken bucket and is about 23cm across, the gaming chopsticks in Pikachu and Gengar designs are $15.95 and delivery-only through the KFC app, GrabFood or Foodpanda, and the $99 Pokemon Evolution jacket in a Charizard design is dine-in or takeaway only, one per person, at just five outlets: Kallang, Jurong Point, Bedok Town Square, Causeway Point and SCAPE. The Pikachu car neck pillows are $32.95 for a set of two with a Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box, at drive-thru and extended-hour stores. $99 for a fast food jacket is steep, but a five-outlet, one-per-person cap means it will be gone regardless of what anyone thinks of the price.

The Japanese Nanban menu and what it costs

The food side is a Japanese-leaning limited menu that runs the full campaign. The Japanese Nanban Zinger is from $7.50, a chicken thigh fillet brushed in nanban sauce, a sweet and tangy soy glaze, and finished with tartar. Japanese Nanban Chicken Bites are from $6.90, Japanese Nanban Loaded Fries are $5.95, and Sweet Potato Balls are from $3.95. The Zinger and the Chicken Bites Box are also the two items most of the merch is tied to, so if you are going for a pouch or the jacket, that is what has to be on the tray.

Free TCG tutorials and the Pikachu meet and greet

KFC is running over 200 free beginner Trading Card Game tutorial sessions from 12 to 20 September across five outlets. You register through the Pokemon Trading Card Game trainer website, one account per person, and you leave with a beginner battle deck (two 30-card decks), a paper playmat and a reward voucher. Separately, Pikachu does three meet and greet slots on 29 August: KFC Kallang from 11am to 11.30am, KFC SCAPE from 2pm to 2.30pm, and KFC Jurong Point from 5pm to 5.30pm. Half an hour each, hours apart, so pick one.

Good to know

· The merch is paid, not a giveaway. You pay for the item on top of the food it is tied to.

· The Poke Ball bucket, the chopsticks and the $99 jacket only start on 9 September. Going on day one gets you the pouch and the sticker sheet, nothing else.

· The sticker sheet is breakfast-only, before 11am, and only at outlets that actually serve breakfast.

· Pikachu's three sessions on 29 August are 30 minutes each. Turn up well before the slot, not at it.
