What has actually been announced

Just the sign. The hoarding in the teaser is pink with a big holographic question mark, and the brand has not said which mall it belongs to. So anyone naming a mall right now is guessing, and so would we be.

The timing is not random though. Singapore's teaser came right after the brand's first Southeast Asia store opened in Kuala Lumpur, which is the best preview we have of what is coming here.

What KL got, and what that means for us

The KL store opened on 12 September 2026 at The Exchange TRX, open 10am to 10pm, with a crowd on opening day. The plain I'm donut? Original started at RM4.60, and the filled donuts and sandos went up to about RM12.

KL also got 16 Malaysia-only flavours, including Milo glazed, Cham, Hojicha Kaya Jam, Banana Fritter Caramel and Pandan Coconut Cream. That is the part our caption was wondering about. If Singapore gets the same treatment, our bet is something kaya or gula melaka, but that is us guessing, not them. What makes these donuts different

They are nama donuts, meaning raw or fresh in Japanese. The dough is soft enough that the Original is basically a cloud with sugar on it, and it is the one to try first. KL's opening crowd suggests Singapore will not be any calmer.
