What we ate at the Hillion Mall bazaar

Our table shot says it all: two square tubs of briyani, one plain with a pot of gravy and one with a chunk of masala meat buried in the rice, a cup of iced matcha, a tub of green pistachio dessert and a box of fried bites rolled in sesame. The briyani was from Ajmir Briyani, the one stall we can name with certainty from our tags because briyani is their whole thing. The other stalls we tagged were Azucha, Onoshi and Kai Emilio.

Briyani is the smart pasar malam order and we have said so before. It is a full meal in one box for less than most of the dessert cups around it, and it travels. How crowded was it, honestly

Very. Our caption at the time was that it was so crowded it was kind of crazy, and we stand by that. Hillion connects directly to Bukit Panjang MRT on the Downtown Line, the LRT and the bus interchange, so a bazaar on its doorstep gets every commuter walking out of the station at dinner time, not just the people who planned to come. We went on the opening weekend, which did not help.

Is the Hillion Mall bazaar back in 2026

Not that we can confirm. We checked on 20 October 2026: Hillion Mall's own happenings page lists no bazaar, and TLK Events' own Instagram grid shows their current runs elsewhere, a Punggol MRT pasar malam beside Waterway Point to 31 October and a Yishun MRT one from 19 October to 3 November 2026. TLK does come back to the same sites, Hillion included, so the honest answer is to watch @tlkevents rather than plan around this page.
