GTA 6 Release Date: 19 November 2026, After Two Delays
Grand Theft Auto VI is out on 19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026 at $79.99 standard and $99.99 for the Ultimate edition, and every pre-order came with the Vintage Vice City Pack.
The date, and how many times it moved
Rockstar showed GTA 6 in December 2023 with a 2025 window. That became 26 May 2026. In November 2025 it moved again, to 19 November 2026, with Rockstar saying the extra months were needed to finish the game at the standard people expect.
Since then Rockstar North has publicly held the line on the November date. No further delay has been announced by Rockstar or Take-Two. Two slips in, the sensible position is to believe it when it is installed.
The joke on our post was that we got a pre-order before we got the game, and that is more or less what happened: pre-orders opened five months before launch.
Vice City is back
The map is the state of Leonida, and Vice City sits inside it. That is the headline for anyone who played the 2002 game, and it is the reason the reveal trailers landed the way they did.
The other confirmed detail worth knowing is what is not there: no PC version at launch, and no last-generation consoles. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, which means a chunk of players have a hardware decision to make before November.
What it costs, and where to buy it in Singapore
Standard edition $79.99 and Ultimate $99.99 at the pre-order announcement, sold through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Store and a set of physical retailers depending on the country. Singapore prices come through the local store listings, and disc copies through the usual game shops.
Pre-orders included the Vintage Vice City Pack, which is cosmetic. It is not a reason to pre-order something that has already moved twice.
