Little India, night by night

The light-up, Serangoon Road (Little India or Farrer Park MRT). LISHA says the lights run over 2km and are on daily, 7pm to midnight, and they stay up after Deepavali, to 29 November. Our Deepavali 2026 date and light-up guide has the full background.

Festival Village, Campbell Lane. From 7pm, until 8 November. This is where the stalls are: clothes, snacks, decor.

Big Bus Deepavali Tour, Saturday 7 November, 7pm and 8pm, $12 a person including a $5 food and drink voucher. LISHA describes it as a 45-minute ride from Orchard Hotel through Little India to Racecourse Road. Book on its ticketing page, lisha.ticketnow.sg. The organiser's own date list is inconsistent, so confirm the Saturday slot before you book. It is the easiest way to see the lights with kids who will not walk 2km.

Open House at the Indian Heritage Centre

Indian Heritage Centre, 5 Campbell Lane (Little India MRT). The Deepavali Open House runs to 8 November, 10am to 6pm, to 8pm on Saturdays, last admission 7.30pm. On Saturday 7 November there is a free English gallery tour at 7pm, no registration. The weekend bazaar runs 10am to 7pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday, and there are saree displays with a vintage photobooth. The centre is closed on Mondays, so do not plan it for the 9th.

For everything else that month, see our November 2026 things-to-do guide and the Little India food guide.

Deepavali buffets and set menus that week

Shahi Maharani, #03-21B Raffles City Shopping Centre, 252 North Bridge Road (City Hall MRT). Diwali week lunch buffet 2 to 6 November, $48++ an adult and $32++ a child. Weekend lunch buffet 7 to 9 November, $58++ and $40++. Grand Diwali dinner on 8 November, $88++ and $58++. Lunch is 12pm to 2.30pm last order, kids are 7 to 12, under 7 eat free. Its FAQ quotes $48++ for the 9 November lunch, which clashes with the $58++ above, so confirm when you book.

SanSara, Grand Copthorne Waterfront, 392 Havelock Road (Havelock MRT). The Diwali Feast, 4 to 8 November, vegetarian or non-vegetarian set menus at $88++ each, dine-in only, reservation required. SanSara is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so the first night is Wednesday 4 November.

StraitsKitchen, Grand Hyatt Singapore, 10 Scotts Road (Orchard MRT). The hotel says the buffet is halal-certified, and it has a Deepavali lunch and dinner on 7 and 8 November. No festive price is listed; its normal Friday and Saturday dinner is $90++.

Tiffin Room, Raffles Hotel Singapore, 1 Beach Road (City Hall MRT), has Diwali menus in tiffin boxes and handmade mithai. Dates and prices are not on its main page, so ask. More festive menus with prices are in our Deepavali buffet list.

Hosting at home, and a halal buffet for the long weekend

Nalan does 100% vegetarian Deepavali catering, South and North Indian menus, minimum 30 guests with advance booking. Copper Chimney says it is MUIS halal-certified, and its Copper Delight catering package starts at $26 a head vegetarian and $30 non-vegetarian. Prices exclude GST and setup; buffet setup is from 30 pax, Drop n' Go from 20. Book catering before the week itself.

Not a Deepavali menu, but if your group wants a cheap halal feed over the long weekend: Family Hakata AMK, 728 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, #01-4200, inside KPH1990 Coffeeshop (Ang Mo Kio MRT).
