Shahi Maharani, #03-21B Raffles City Shopping Centre, has three Diwali offers on its own site. The Diwali week lunch buffet runs 2 to 6 November at $48++ an adult and $32++ a child. The Weekend Celebration lunch buffet runs 7 to 9 November at $58++ and $40++. The Grand Diwali dinner is on 8 November only at $88++ and $58++. Children are 7 to 12, under 7 eat free, and lunch is 12pm to 2.30pm last order. One catch: the same page's FAQ quotes $48++ for the 9 November holiday lunch, so confirm the price when you book. Raffles City has more options if they are full, see our Raffles City food guide.

StraitsKitchen at Grand Hyatt Singapore says its buffet is halal-certified, and it runs a Deepavali spread on 7 and 8 November, 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 9.30pm. It has not published a festive price. Its usual Friday and Saturday dinner is $90++ an adult, so ask when you book.

Set menus: SanSara at Grand Copthorne Waterfront

SanSara's Diwali Feast runs 4 to 8 November 2026, with a vegetarian or non-vegetarian set menu at $88++ each. Dishes include paprika tandoori prawns, burrata palak with makhmali paratha, murgh zafrani korma and akhrot halwa; the vegetarian set has vegetable shami kebab, burrata palak and vegetable korma. It is dine-in only and needs a reservation. SanSara is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so 4 November, a Wednesday, is the first night.

Hosting at home: vegetarian and halal catering

Nalan does fully vegetarian Deepavali catering: a North Indian Diwali Royal Feast at $35 a head or a South Indian Deepavali Virundhu at $25 a head, minimum 30 guests, with delivery, setup and staff charged separately. Copper Chimney is MUIS halal-certified and runs Diwali catering from $26 to $60 a head before GST, Drop n' Go from 20 people, full buffet setup from 30. Both want advance bookings, so do not leave it to the week of.

For sweets, Raffles Hotel's Tiffin Room sells mithai boxes from 19 October to 10 November 2026.

A halal buffet under $20 for the long weekend

Not a Deepavali menu, but if your group wants a cheap halal feed over the long weekend, Family Hakata AMK is a MUIS-certified halal mookata buffet at 728 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, #01-4200. It is $19.90 nett an adult and $14.90 for kids 100cm to 140cm, minimum two people, open 1pm to 11pm with last orders at 9.30pm. You can book Family Hakata on Eventful Tables. Its booking deal reads: "Mon to Fri, 1pm to 4pm: 10% off all food. Mon to Thu, 5pm to 8pm: 5% off. Drinks not included, no discounts on public holidays. Only 5 bookings per timing." That means no deal on Sunday 8 or Monday 9 November, but the weekday slots that week still count. More on the counter in our Family Hakata guide.

Good to know

· Book the 8 November dinners this month. Festive nights at popular Indian restaurants fill early.

· "++" means service charge and GST are added on top, so budget about 20% more than the menu price.

· Shahi Maharani lists two prices for the 9 November lunch, so confirm it on the phone.

· Catering needs 20 to 30 guests minimum, so it only works for a proper open house.
