AMK Hub has 96 places to eat, a 2 minute walk from Ang Mo Kio MRT through the underpass. Most of them are underground: 42 on Basement 2 and 20 on Basement 1, with 22 flagged halal in the mall's own directory.
Basement 2 is the snack and takeaway floor: siew bao, bak kwa, pau and Malaysia Boleh!, a whole hawker hall of Malaysian street food. Level 1 is fast food and breakfast, with Toast Box and Mr Bean from 7am. Level 2 has the sit-down restaurants and Level 3 is just the Kopitiam food court. Link REIT manages the mall's directory, so every unit number below comes from Link REIT's own AMK Hub listing.

Siew bao from a recipe the listing calls 48 years old. A Basement 2 kiosk, open 8am to 10pm. Buy a box to take home.

A hall of Malaysian street food on Basement 2. The mall listing names Penang Jalan Cheong Fatt Tze prawn noodle soup, Petaling Street claypot rice and Klang bak kut teh, so go with someone and split two or three. It opens at 8am. Not halal flagged, and the Klang bak kut teh is pork, so it is not the spot for a mixed group.

Rice bowls topped with sashimi, the brand says from Japanese waters. On Basement 1, open 10.30am to 10pm. A good light lunch if you like raw fish. If you do not, skip it, the menu is built around it.

Halal Taiwanese food on Basement 1: handmade dumplings, braised dishes, noodles and scrambled egg rice, by its own listing. A halal sit-down option here, so it suits a mixed group. Open 11am to 10pm.

Yakiniku built for one person and one grill, the brand's whole pitch. Good for a fast solo dinner on Basement 1 when you want meat, not a queue for a group table. Open 11am to 10pm. You will smell of grill after, so maybe not before a date.

Halal Western food and sundaes on Basement 1: the listing pushes fish and chips, ribeye and the 'Fried Chicken' ice cream. It runs to 10.30pm, one of the last kitchens open in the mall, so it is the late dessert stop for families.

Kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs and kopi on Basement 1. The catch: this one opens at 10am by the directory. For an earlier kaya toast, Toast Box at #01-01/02 opens at 7am.

The Japanese beef bowl chain, Level 1, open 8am to 9.30pm by the directory. Fast and the same every time, which is the point. The mall directory does not flag it, but MUIS lists Sukiya Gyudon at #01-06/07 as halal certified (EERT20250000354). It closes half an hour before the mall.

Wok-fried rice, ramen and udon, with toppings like tobiko and a sous vide egg, by its own listing. Halal flagged, fast, and good for a solo lunch on Level 1. The directory lists Dabba Street at the same unit, so look for both names.

Roti prata with a thick curry that, in the listing's own words, is spicier than it looks, plus chicken biryani and teh tarik. Opens 7am on Level 1, one of the earliest meals in the mall after Munchi Pancakes. The mall directory does not flag it, but MUIS lists Prata Raya at #01-38/39 as halal certified (EERX21110012959).

The takeaway version of Swee Choon. By its own listing it makes its dim sum in house and sells frozen packs of the signatures to steam at home. It is a quick-service counter on Level 1, not a restaurant, so do not plan a sit-down meal around it. The directory's hours read 12am to 12am, which looks like a placeholder, so check before a late run.

The Japanese all-rounder on Level 2, with a wide menu, and each Ichiban Boshi has its own specialty dishes by the brand's listing. A safe choice when the group cannot agree. Open 10am to 10pm, so it works for an early lunch too.

Seafood served in the pan it was cooked in, the whole idea behind Fish & Co. It is flagged halal in the mall directory and sits on Level 2. Share a platter rather than ordering one each. Note it closes at 9.30pm, half an hour before the mall.

A-One's claypot restaurant on Level 2: local dishes served sizzling in claypots and on hotplates, by its own listing. The pick for a proper sit-down family dinner that is still zi char at heart. Opens 10.30am. For a table of six, come before the dinner rush.

Hunan cooking on Level 2, around since 2009 by its own listing, with a menu tuned for local taste. Hunan food leans on fresh and pickled chilli, so ask what is mild if your table has a non-spice eater. It is on Level 2, the same floor as customer service. Open 11am to 10pm.

The food court, and the only place to eat on Level 3. The mall listing puts it at 25 stalls of hawker food plus kaya toast, kopi and local desserts. It opens at 8am by the directory, two hours before the mall, so this is your breakfast if the basement is still shuttered. The mall does not flag it halal, so check stall by stall.
The 16 above are the ones we would send a friend to. For completeness, here is the rest of AMK Hub's food directory, 80 more places, 96 in total. 24 of the 96 are halal certified. Unit numbers come from AMK Hub's own store directory, halal certification from the mall's directory plus MUIS's register, and are re-checked daily, last on 15 October 2026. Opening hours are the ones the directory publishes and change without notice.

Take the train to Ang Mo Kio station, NS16 on the North South Line. The mall's own site says it is a 2 minute walk from the station underpass. It is also connected to Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange, served by CT8, 22, 24, 25, 73, 74, 76, 87, 88, 130, 132, 133, 135, 136, 138, 159, 162, 165, 166, 169, 261, 262, 265, 268, 269 and 853 by the mall's list.
The mall runs 10am to 10pm daily by its own site. Shops set their own hours inside that. By the mall's directory, Munchi Pancakes at #01-11/12/13 opens at 6am, Toast Box at #01-01/02, Mr Bean at #01-19/20 and Prata Raya at #01-38/39 at 7am, and Kopitiam on Level 3 at 8am. Yes. 22 of the 96 places to eat at AMK Hub are flagged halal certified in the mall's own store directory: Auntie Anne's, Big Pasta Small Pasta, Crave, CROLO by Swee Heng, DaXi, Dough Culture, DUNKIN', Eat Pizza, Famous Amos, Fish & Co., Maki-San, Mr Bean, Old Chang Kee, Pepper Lunch, Polar Puffs & Cakes, Popeyes Famous Louisiana Chicken, Qi Ji, Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry, Swensen's, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, The Soup Spoon and Wok Hey. We re-check that list daily, but certification is the shop's to hold, so look for the certificate at the counter if it matters to you. MUIS's register lists more AMK Hub shops than the mall flags, Prata Raya, Sukiya, Munchi Pancakes, Jollibee, A&W, Wingstop, Kopi & Tarts and Krispy Kreme among them.
From the mall's own site: Monday to Friday, $1.70 for the first hour and $0.85 for every half hour after. It is a family mall. There is a nursing and baby room on Level 3 near Yun Nam Hair Care, and wheelchairs on loan at the customer service counter on Level 2, by the mall's own site. For food, Swensen's, Fish & Co. and the Kopitiam food court are the easy family tables.
