It is bookable, which matters for groups, and weekday afternoons from 2.30pm to 4.30pm are 20% off food through Eventful Tables (only 5 bookings per timing). Our Simon Says Cafe guide has the details.

Hawker food and satay at night

Lau Pa Sat at 18 Raffles Quay is open 24 hours, with each stall on its own hours, and has seats for big groups. Outside on Boon Tat Street, Satay Street starts from 7pm.

Going west instead? Our Clarke Quay food guide covers the other side of the river, and KOBASHI's $16 lunch set is on South Bridge Road.
