The Grass That Flowers: Seagrass Dance-Theatre for Kids
The Grass That Flowers brings Singapore’s seagrass habitats into a children’s dance-theatre show at Drama Centre Black Box from 11–14 November 2026. Performances are listed at 11am and 2pm.
A marine story told through movement
ARTS FISSION’s professional dancers perform alongside children in a story about the creatures living in a seagrass meadow. Marine life becomes water spirits, and the plot follows what happens when human activity disrupts their habitat.

Arrive before the advertised show time
TeamSeaGrass has prepared a 15-minute interactive introduction featuring local seagrass species and their wildlife. It begins at 10.30am before the 11am show, or 1.30pm before the 2pm show. That early start matters if you want to catch both parts.
Booking the performance
Use the SISTIC link on ARTS FISSION’s official production page for current ticket categories and the admission advisory. Primary-school and preschool groups can ask the company about group rates. The performance is at Drama Centre Black Box.
