Architectural Heritage Season Starts 10 November With Conservation Talks and Site Visits
Singapore’s Architectural Heritage Season launches on 10 November, with programmes spotlighting this year’s Architectural Heritage Award winners and the craft behind building conservation.
Look beyond the finished façade
URA’s season brings together exhibitions, lectures, seminars, site visits and engagement activities. The 2026 focus includes specialist conservation techniques and craftsmanship: useful context for understanding how older buildings are restored and adapted.
The official season page has a pre-registration link. Programme dates, locations and booking conditions should be checked individually as details are released; the launch date is not a single admission ticket covering every activity.
Dates to watch on the official programme
The season poster lists URA–NTU heritage films at Filmhouse on 13 November, a fresco-painting lecture and workshop on 20 November, and on-site lectures featuring award projects on 4 December. Follow the season page for individual registration details.
The Tanjong Pagar special walk is currently marked sold out
Beyond the Façades of Tanjong Pagar is a special URA–Friends of the Museums walk for the season. Its organiser listing was marked sold out when checked on 1 November. URA does not maintain a waitlist; check the listing for returned spaces or subsequent tours rather than turning up without a booking.
The outdoor English-language walk lasts about two hours and is recommended for ages 16 and above. Registration is individual and compulsory. Confirm the date on your ticket rather than assuming every regular Friday walk is this special edition.
If you secure a place, bring wired earphones
The listed meeting point is the Level 1 indoor benches outside The Caffeine Experience at 45 Maxwell Road. Bring earphones with a standard 3.5 mm plug, water and rain protection. The organiser may cancel according to ground conditions.
