Subway Singapore used to run $5 value combos, a $5.50 meal deal for 50 days from 1 September 2015, and a $2 coffee and cookie from 3pm to 5pm on weekdays. Today the cheapest value meal on Subway Singapore's own site is $6.80. Nobody is saying $1.30 is a tragedy. It just feels like one.
The one that hurts most is the $2 coffee break. A cookie and a coffee, weekdays 3pm to 5pm, which is exactly the hour you escaped from tuition or the office to go sit in a Subway doing nothing. Then there were the $5 Fresh Value Combos on the standee by the door, and in September 2015 a board promising $5.50 for 50 days, with a BMT, Meatball Marinara, Subway Melt, Chicken Teriyaki and Tuna lined up beside a drink.
Green and yellow everything. Fake tomato murals on the walls, the curved glass counter, a Coke fridge by the door and a queue that always moved slower than you wanted because the person in front was choosing between five sauces. There was also, at one point, staff behind the counter dressed as avocados. We do not have an explanation. We just have the photo.
Subway Singapore's Everyday Value meal is $6.80 for a 6-inch sub, a cookie and a 16oz drink, with five subs to pick from: Cheesy B.L.T, Chicken Delite, Egg Mayo, Chicken Chorizo and Veggie Delite. It is listed as a limited-time deal at participating outlets, so check before you count on it. Checked on 29 September 2026. Honestly, for a meal with a drink in town, $6.80 is still fine. It is just not $5.
· The cookie is still the best value item on the menu. Some things do not change.
· Value meals are participating outlets only, so airport and hotel outlets may not have them.
