The two slides are not the same ride

Skydrop is the one people are nervous about. It starts with a straight drop before the track curves, so the first second is a fall rather than a slide, and Skypark Sentosa lists it as the world's tallest land-based drop slide.

The Big Klook Slide is the orange one and it is built to be enjoyable rather than frightening. Longer, curvier, no drop element. If you are bringing someone who is not sure about this, that is the one they should do first.

Skypark Sentosa calls the pair Southeast Asia's tallest dry slides at 44 metres, which is about fourteen storeys. It is also Klook's first branded attraction anywhere, which explains why the whole thing is that specific shade of orange.

Prices and what to expect

Two rides for $28, three rides for $33. Both packages let you split rides between Skydrop and The Big Klook Slide rather than forcing you onto the same one twice, which matters because you will want the second go on whichever one caught you off guard.

At launch, the first 1,000 ticket packages sold came with a ride video worth $20. That was a launch offer and it has been gone for a while, so do not plan around it.

Skypark Sentosa sits on Siloso Beach, and the bungy jump and giant swing are on the same site. Buy the three-ride package if there are two of you, because one of you will want to go again and the maths stops working if you buy singles.
