Our SSS tier is Petit Brunch chicken biscuits, Oishi onion rings and Craze Hottis. S tier is Twiggies, Pola, pizza Pringles and sour Skittles with the sugar still on them. Haw Flakes, Push Pops and cheese Corntos only make A, and we stand by that.
SSS. Petit Brunch chicken biscuits, Oishi onion rings, Craze Hottis. Nothing else came close. Petit Brunch is the one that everyone forgot they loved until they see the blue box again.
S. Twiggies, Pola, pizza flavoured Pringles, sour Skittles. The sour Skittles have to be the ones where the sugar coating is still crunchy.
AA. Cheese balls, Want Want senbei, Mamee Monster. Mamee is only this high because half of us ate it raw with the seasoning shaken in, which is the correct way.
A. Push Pops, Haw Flakes, cheese Corntos. Haw Flakes are pure nostalgia. Eat one now and you will notice it is basically sweet cardboard, and you will still finish the roll. If you want the full mama shop run, we did that in mama shop snacks.
The 7-Eleven mashed potato. Not a snack you can buy in a packet and hoard, which is exactly why people still bring it up.
That is the pattern with all of these. The ones that hurt are the counter items and the school bookshop items, the things you cannot solve by ordering a carton online. Everything in the tier list above is still findable if you look hard enough at a provision shop or a Malaysian supermarket run.
Old provision shops and mama shops in the older estates carry more of this than any supermarket. Want Want, Mamee and cheese balls are easy, they are on normal shelves.
Twiggies and Pola are the ones you have to hunt, and a JB grocery run usually solves it. Craze Hottis is a machine, so it depends entirely on whether the shop near you still runs one.
· Buy Mamee in the multipack. One packet is never one packet.
· Sour Skittles lose the point once the sugar coating goes soft, so check the packet is not old stock.
· Older estate provision shops beat supermarkets for this stuff, every time.
· If your tier list is different, that is the whole game. Ours is not neutral.
