What PRESSED! by Cheeselads actually is

It is a permanent kiosk, not a pop-up, run by the team behind Cheeselads, the cheese specialists on Tyrwhitt Road. The fridge is billed on its own signage as Singapore's first 24/7 cheese shop: sealed cheeses on the shelves, a screen next to it where you order and pay yourself, and a hatch marked COLLECT HERE for the hot stuff. Nobody has to be standing there for you to buy cheese, which is the whole trick of putting it in a petrol station that never closes. It is also where the Mystery Cheese Box gets collected.

What is on the grilled cheese menu

The wall behind the counter lists the sandwiches: the plain Grilled Cheese, Ham and Cheese, Mortadella Pesto, Hot Honey Blue, Tuna Melt and a caramelised onion one. They are pressed fresh when you order, and that window is 12pm to 7pm daily. Turn up at midnight and you can still raid the fridge, you just will not get anything hot.

How to get there

40 Upper East Coast Road, Singapore 455208. It is the Shell station, so parking is the easy part. On public transport it is about a ten minute walk from Siglap MRT on the Thomson-East Coast Line, or any bus down Upper East Coast Road. There is no queue system and no booking, you just walk up to the screen.

The Mystery Cheese Box drop

Eventful's Drop #001 with PRESSED! is a $59 box, usual price $73 with GST included, holding four mystery cheeses out of a rotation of more than 100, pairing condiments of honeycomb, nuts and dried fruit, and half a classic grilled cheese sandwich pressed when you collect. It is capped at the first 150 orders and orders close on Wednesday 12 August 2026 at 5.59pm. Collection is at this kiosk, Friday to Sunday between 12pm and 6.30pm.
