Paradox Singapore Family Escape Package: What $420++ a Night Covers

Paradox Singapore Family Escape Package: What $420++ a Night Covers

Paradox Singapore Merchant Court's Family Escape Package was $420++ a night for a Premier Two Queen room with a balcony, with breakfast buffet for up to four people and a local welcome gift included. We also had an EVENTFUL5 code for 5% off, valid on bookings made up to 31 May 2026 for stays through 31 December 2026.

This one has finished.

It ran until 31 May 2026. We keep the page up because people still search for it and the details are worth having, but do not make the trip on the strength of this article. For what is actually on right now, see things to do this weekend.

Reading the ++ before you compare prices

$420++ is not $420. Service charge and GST go on top, so the real number lands closer to $490 a night. That matters when you are comparing against a hotel quoting a nett rate, which several Clarke Quay properties do. Breakfast for four is the part that carries the package, because buffet breakfast for two extra people at a hotel of this tier is rarely under $80. We did a full walkthrough of the stay separately.

Two queens and a balcony is the actual selling point

Most family staycation packages in Singapore put you in a king with a rollaway, which works for one child and not for two. A Premier Two Queen sleeps four adults properly. The balcony is the rarer part: very few hotels in the Clarke Quay stretch have them at this rate.

The code, and its two different dates

EVENTFUL5 gave 5% off, and it carried two separate windows that people mixed up: the booking had to be made by 31 May 2026, but the stay could be any time up to 31 December 2026. Both dates have now passed for booking, so treat this as a record of what the package was. The same hotel runs Ellenborough Market Cafe downstairs if you are looking at it for the food rather than the room.

At a glance

💸Prices spotted: $420

Good to know

· $420++ works out closer to $490 nett. Compare like for like before calling it expensive or cheap.

· Breakfast for four is where the value sits. Costed separately it is most of the gap to a plain room rate.

· Nearest MRT is Clarke Quay on the North East Line, about a five-minute walk.
