Keeping small hands off a charcoal pan
The dome is very hot and the soup ring boils, so seat little ones away from the pan and let an adult run the tongs.
Cut the grilled meat on a plate before it goes to a small kid, and keep drinks away from the edge of the pan. Boring advice, but it is a pot of live charcoal on the table.
