What KL Foodie Fest is

It is a two-day food festival run by the KL Foodie team. The first one, in October 2025, was HAUSBOOM KL Foodie Fest at MAEPS in Serdang. Our slides use the organiser's own photos: smash burgers getting cheese poured on, mac and cheese tossed in a cheese wheel, fruit mochi, and trays of cat and panda shaped buns.

The pitch is 100+ viral eats and homegrown brands, live band performances, and, in the organiser's words on our last slide, surprise overseas brands too. The vendor list for this year is not out yet.

Dates moved: why you may have seen October

In April, KL Foodie announced the 2026 edition for 24 and 25 October at MAEPS, Serdang. That is not where it is happening any more. The organiser's own page now lists Setia City Convention Centre, Carpark A, in November, 12pm to 10pm, and the dates on the announcement are 28 and 29 November.

So if a friend sends you the old October post, it is out of date. Go by the November one.

Getting there from KL

Setia City Convention Centre is in Setia Alam, on the Shah Alam side of the Klang Valley. It is a drive or an e-hailing ride from the city, not a train-and-walk, so budget for traffic on a Saturday afternoon.

The festival is in the outdoor carpark, Carpark A, not inside the convention halls. Dress for heat in the day and a possible evening shower, it is late November.
