JANCHI is a Korean restaurant at 4 Craig Road, Singapore 089664, near Tanjong Pagar MRT. Our two must-gets are the pig trotters and the cheese pancake, and our bill came to about $110 when we went in January 2026.
Honestly, we wanted to gatekeep this spot forever. But they have quite a few dishes, and to be very honest, some are not very good. So here is what to get.
The cheese pancake first. It is perfectly crispy and well balanced, with a proper cheese taste, so it is a must if you actually like Korean pancakes and cheese. Then the pig trotters. Wrap them in lettuce with the kimchi, radish and sauces all together, because the trotters on their own can be a bit plain.
If you are working through the Korean spots in town, our Keum Eun Don HillV2 lunch set piece is the cheaper option.
Do not get the kimchi pancake. It was a bit too salty, in our opinion. The rest of the menu is a bit of a hit or miss, including the cold buckwheat noodles on our table.
Get the right ones that you like and just stick with those. For drinks, the makgeolli is worth it, it is actually quite refreshing with everything together.
Our total bill was about $110 when we went in January 2026. That is quite steep for a casual meal. For a special date night or something, it is definitely worth a shot.
JANCHI's Google listing still showed it open when we checked in October 2026: daily 11am to 3pm and 5pm to 10.30pm, with a break in between. The restaurant posts on Instagram at @janchi_official.
· Order the cheese pancake and the pig trotters, then decide on the rest.
· Skip the kimchi pancake, it ran too salty for us.
· It closes between 3pm and 5pm, so do not show up for a late lunch.
· Tanjong Pagar MRT is the closest station to Craig Road.
