FIFA World Cup 2026 Screenings in Singapore: How It Ended

FIFA World Cup 2026 Screenings in Singapore: How It Ended

The 2026 World Cup ran from 11 June to 19 July 2026 across Canada, Mexico and the United States, and Spain beat Argentina 1-0 after extra time in the final. Every public screening we listed in Singapore has since ended, so this page is a record rather than a plan.

This tournament has finished.

We published the Singapore screening schedule in June 2026. The 2026 World Cup ended on 19 July 2026 and every screening listed has closed. Checked 7 September 2026.

How it finished

Spain 1, Argentina 0, after extra time, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 19 July 2026, in front of 80,663 people. Ferran Torres scored in the 106th minute and it was the only goal of the match.

Spain outshot Argentina 20 to 3 and still could not score in ninety minutes, which is the sort of final that sounds better in the numbers than it looked at four in the morning. It was Spain's second World Cup after 2010.

Why the Singapore screenings were the whole story

North American kick-off times land badly here. A tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States means most matches fall between about 1am and 10am Singapore time, so watching it at home alone was a genuinely bad experience and the screenings were how people actually got through it.

That is also why the venue list dates so fast. Bars, community clubs and mall atriums put screenings up match by match and take them down the moment the tournament ends. If you are looking for what is on right now instead, we keep a current list of free events in Singapore this September.
