Why we split off a food account

The honest version is in our own caption: after a year of posting everything, people told us it got confusing. Some of you follow us for concerts and pop-ups, some only want to know where to eat. So the food went to its own page.

The first slide called it "An OnlyFa- I mean Only Food Account", which tells you the tone we were going for. The promise was three things: food giveaways, exclusive deals with F&B brands, and honest food reviews.

What came after the launch

Two days later the first giveaway went up: a Gotcha Matcha Christmas giveaway, eight winners, three festive drinks each, which ran 17 to 24 December 2025. Then in January 2026 came the Jett Barbecue beef rib giveaway. Beef ribs were on the launch slide, so that one was a promise kept.

Both giveaways are closed. Nobody from either will DM you now asking you to claim a prize.

Is @eventfulsg.food still running

Yes. It is still the food-only page, and the giveaways and deals we post there come with their own write-ups here on the blog.

The main @eventful_sg page still covers food too, it just also covers everything else. If you only care about what to eat, the food account is the shorter feed.
