This one was a teaser and nothing more: a black-and-white clip, a "coming up" card, no caption beyond two hashtags. What it was pointing at is the drops programme, our limited-run pre-orders with a fixed cap and a fixed close date. If you saw the reel and wondered what was coming, this is the answer.
We agree a limited run with a partner, open it for a fixed window, and then close it. Nothing gets restocked and nothing is held back for a second wave. Drop #001 was a mystery cheese box, capped at 150 and sold through on launch night. Drop #002 is a Zouk pre-drink package at $129, also capped at 150. The full explainer lives in what is a food drop.
Because a drop only stays open a couple of weeks and a cap of 150 goes fast. Teasing gives people a chance to be ready at the hour it opens rather than finding out afterwards. Drops go live in our Telegram channel first, which is the practical reason to be on it if you actually want one rather than reading about it later.
· Drops are capped and never restocked. If it sells out, that is the end of it.
· The Telegram channel gets the launch first, ahead of the Instagram post.
· Each drop has a hard close date, after which the checkout link stops working.
· Teasers usually run a few days before the open, so following the account is the head start.
