How the Eventful $50 Draw Is Actually Picked Each Month
The $50 monthly draw picks one random follower, and that is the whole method. There is no scoring, no engagement weighting and no shortlist, which is why we tell people not to bother commenting.
Random means random
Winners are selected using a random name generator across our followers. That has two consequences people find annoying and both are true: a long-time follower has exactly the same odds as someone who followed yesterday, and there is nothing you can do to improve your position. What happens after the draw
The winner is contacted by DM from @eventful_sg. We do not announce prize collection details publicly and we never ask for payment. If someone messages you about a win from any other handle, that is an impersonator, not us.
