What D23 Asia actually is

D23 is Disney's own fan club, and its live event is the one where new films get announced on stage in front of a hall full of people in costume. It has run in Anaheim for years and has never come to this side of the world until now. Disney announced the Singapore edition on 14 August 2026.

When tickets go on sale, and what we do not know yet

Tickets open in November 2026. Disney has not published prices, tiers or a queue system, and everything official goes up on d23asia.com and the @D23Asia account first. That is the only place worth watching. Anyone selling D23 Asia tickets before Disney opens sales is selling you nothing, and there will be plenty of them. The American D23 has cleared its ticket allocation on the first day before, so treat November as a set-your-alarm day rather than a browse-later one.

Getting there, and why the venue matters

Sands Expo & Convention Centre sits under Marina Bay Sands, and Bayfront MRT (CE1 and DT16) puts you in the basement without ever going outside. It is the same set of halls that hosted POP TOY SHOW in August 2026, so if you queued for that you already know the drill: the taxi drop-off jams, the MRT does not. June 2027 falls in the school holidays, which is good for getting there and bad for hotel prices if you are travelling in.
