CHAGEE opened at PLQ Mall in June 2026, at unit #01-39, 10 Paya Lebar Road, Singapore 409057. If Paya Lebar is where you change trains, that is the whole story: the queue you used to make a detour for is now on your way home.
Paya Lebar is a Circle Line and East West Line interchange with three malls stacked around it, and PLQ is the one connected straight to the station. An outlet there is not a destination, it is an interception. That is a different kind of store to open and it is usually the busiest kind.
The unit is on level one, so you are not going up two floors and back down for a drink between trains. Expect the 6pm to 8pm window to be the worst of it on weekdays.
CHAGEE's actual draw is the tea rather than the toppings, which is a different pitch to most of the chains around it. We went through the range separately in our CHAGEE matcha series writeup.
Start with a plain milk tea from their signature range before you get into the seasonal ones. CHAGEE is built around single-origin tea bases, so a drink loaded with syrup tells you nothing about whether you like the shop.
Ask for it less sweet on the first order. Their default is sweeter than the tea needs and it is easier to add than to fix.
· Unit #01-39, PLQ Mall, 10 Paya Lebar Road. Level one, directly connected to Paya Lebar MRT.
· Weekday 6pm to 8pm is the worst queue. It is an interchange store, so it fills with the commute.
· Order less sweet on the first visit. The tea base is the point and the default sweetness covers it.
