Weekend Brew Club Tampines West: The First Free Coffee Buffet Weekend
The Tampines West edition of Weekend Brew Club ran on 2 and 3 May 2026, 9am to 3pm, in the open space between Blk 826 and Blk 828 on Tampines Ave 3. It was the first of the three May weekends, and it set the pattern the rest followed: no tickets on sale, a $5 to $10 spend at a partner shop instead, and a mug handed to you at the door.

Why the heartland location was the point
Putting a free-flow coffee bar in the void deck space between two HDB blocks is a deliberate choice. It brings a cafe format to people who would not travel to one, and it funnels the spending into the shops already there. Tampines West was marked fully redeemed. That is worth taking literally for any future edition: the free-flow bar runs while stocks last, and both editions we covered closed redemption before the weekend was over. A 9am start on the Saturday is not being keen, it is the normal way to get in.
