The date-by-date 1-for-1 list

Week one: bluefin fatty tuna $4.90++ (usual $9.80++) from 8 to 10 May, big red shrimp $2.30++ (usual $4.60++) on 11 and 12 May, big cut fresh salmon $2.90++ (usual $5.80++) on 13 and 14 May. Week two: medium fatty tuna $3.90++ (usual $7.80++) from 15 to 17 May, salmon roe wrap $3.90++ on 18 and 19 May, big cut grilled eel $3.90++ on 20 and 21 May. Each pair came on one plate.

Drinks were $6++ for the whole run: lemon sour (usual $8), Premium Malts (usual $10.50) and Kaku highball (usual $9). Opening day had a sure-win lucky dip with a $50 minimum spend.

The outlet, and the pattern to remember

100AM, 100 Tras Street, #04-07/08, S079027, a five minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT. Reservations through the Sushiro app, which opened on 1 May for this outlet. Weekday dinner without a booking was an hour's wait through the promo fortnight.

The useful part is the pattern. Sushiro ran the identical two-week 1-for-1 schedule when Chinatown Point opened in June, same items, same prices, same order. The next Sushiro opening will almost certainly do it again, so the list above is your cheat sheet: tuna first, shrimp and salmon next, eel last.
