How much Singapore Oceanarium tickets cost

Resorts World Sentosa lists the one-day ticket as from $55 for an adult (ages 13 to 59), from $43 for a child (ages 4 to 12) and from $43 for a senior (60 and above). Read the word from carefully: these are floor prices, and what you actually pay moves with the date you pick, with peak dates sitting at the top of the range. Time-entry tickets are required during peak periods, so on busy days you are booking a slot rather than just a date. Children under 4 fall outside the ticketed age bands entirely. Prices here were checked against the RWS site on 14 August 2026, and they do change, so treat them as the starting point rather than a promise.

Opening hours, and the days it closes early

The Oceanarium runs 10am to 8pm on a normal day, with last admission at 8pm. Pier Adventure, the suspended walkway, runs a shorter 11am to 7pm. The detail most guides leave out is that it closes early on a scattered set of dates, and turning up at 5pm on one of them means a wasted trip across the island. Two things, as of 14 August 2026. The Marine Mammal Habitat viewing panel is temporarily closed until further notice, and Life in the Deep, part of The Abyss, is closed for maintenance. If the dolphins are your reason for going, check that the panel has reopened before you book.

What you actually walk through

The Oceanarium is laid out as a route rather than a room of tanks. You move through In the Beginning, At the Surface, Sunlight, Into the Deep, The Abyss and A New Horizon, starting at the first fishes, passing Singapore's own coastlines and the interactive habitat there, dropping to the seafloor and the shipwrecks, then surfacing on what the ocean is up against. That sequencing is the real change from the old S.E.A. Aquarium, which was a set of habitats to look at rather than a story to walk through. It is also why the ticket costs more than the aquarium's did.

Getting there and making a day of it

The Oceanarium sits at 24 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098137, inside Resorts World Sentosa. Easiest route: NorthEast Line or Circle Line to HarbourFront, up to VivoCity Level 3, then the Sentosa Express one stop to Waterfront. Walking in over the Sentosa Boardwalk from VivoCity is free and open 24 hours, which is the cheapest way onto the island if you are not in a rush. Driving, park at B1 East Car Park; the recommended drop-off is the B1 Casino entrance. Sentosa usually has something else running to stack your day with, like Sentosa GrillFest and its free taco runs.

Cheaper ways in

Three worth knowing. Twilight Waves is an admission-from-4pm ticket bundled with a $5 retail voucher and a $5 meal voucher, neither with a minimum spend, which suits anyone treating this as an evening instead of a full day out. The Season Pass covers unlimited visits plus birthday-month perks and a one-time Animal Spotlight: Sea Jellies session that otherwise goes for $28, so it pays off quickly if you have kids who will ask to come back. And there are bundles pairing the Oceanarium with Adventure Cove Waterpark, or a combined pass with Universal Studios Singapore, if you are doing more than one RWS attraction in the same week.
