Singapore Expressways Rated Part 2: MCE 8/10, CTE 3/10
MCE tops round two with 8/10, while CTE lands on 3/10. Here are Eventful’s subjective scores for five more Singapore expressways.

The five scores
- MCE: 8/10
- SLE: 6/10
- AYE: 5/10
- BKE: 4/10
- CTE: 3/10
Our first expressway ratings post covered KPE, KJE, ECP, TPE and PIE. These five get their own turn. There is no scientific scoring system hiding behind the numbers. The grievances are the system.
MCE wins, CTE gets the complaint
The MCE slide jokes about Waze deciding the driver is already in the sea. Apparently that is still worth an 8. CTE's problem is more personal: the slide asks why it feels jammed even at 3pm, then gives it 3/10.
BKE, SLE and AYE have their own issues
BKE gets 4/10 alongside a complaint about motorcycles changing lanes. SLE's 6/10 comes with a Nee Soon Camp reference for NSFs and reservists. AYE lands on 5/10 because of that uncomfortable feeling of being small beside a truck.
A ranking you are allowed to disagree with
The final slide teases an expressway tier list. For now, MCE is the winner of this batch and CTE is not getting a thank-you note. You can see all the original slides in our 28 October Instagram post, or find more of these arguments on the Eventful blog.
