Sanrio Moonlit Garden VivoCity 2026: Dates, Entry and Prices

Sanrio Characters Moonlit Garden is on at VivoCity's Sky Park on Level 3 until 27 September 2026, and walking in is free. The installations are up 10am to 10pm daily, the lanterns and inflatables light up from 6pm, and the carnival games run 5pm to 10pm.

The six zones, and which ones are worth the walk

The Sky Park is split into Moonlit Garden Gateway, Kuromi Carnival Kingdom, Cinnamoroll Secret Garden Grove, Hello Kitty Starlit Lantern Walk, Hangyodon Moonlit Water Garden and Pompompurin Mooncake Tea Party. The photo everyone is taking is the Pompompurin sitting on the giant teacup at the entrance, and the Hangyodon zone with the lotus flowers on the water is the one that actually looks better in person than on a phone. Kuromi Carnival Kingdom is anchored by a five-metre Kuromi inflatable on top of lit carnival containers. It is one of the headline pieces of VivoCity's 20th anniversary, which is also why the mall has been running back-to-back pop-ups this year, including the MINISO Winnie the Pooh pop-up downstairs.

What is free and what costs money

Entry to the garden and every installation is free. The paid bits are all inside Kuromi Carnival Kingdom, open 5pm to 10pm daily: carnival game booths at $10 a game, the photobooth at $8 a session, toy capsule dispensers at $8 to $14, and the Mini Express Train at $10 a ride, which comes with a Sanrio sticker set. A family of four doing one game each and a train ride is $50 before anyone has eaten, so decide in the lift, not at the booth.

Meet-and-greets and the $80 catch

The character meet-and-greets are at North-West Boulevard on Level 1, not up at the Sky Park. Remaining dates are 5 and 6 September, with Kuromi at 3pm, Cinnamoroll at 5pm and Hello Kitty at 7pm, and 19 September with Pompompurin at 5pm and 7pm. The 29 and 30 August sessions have passed. Getting in is not free: you need a minimum $80 spend in a single receipt to redeem a pass, and it is capped at the first 30 redemptions per session, so the pass counter clears well before the session starts.

Where the merchandise is

The Sanrio merchandise pop-up runs at East Court on Level 1, near CHAGEE, 10am to 10pm for the length of the event. Separately, TANGS is running a Mid-Autumn Fair with its own redemptions: a Sanrio toiletries pouch at $250 minimum spend and a Sanrio foldable umbrella at $400, with a Sanrio lantern for VivoCity Kids Club members at $120. Read those as shopping incentives rather than as things to plan a trip around.

At a glance

📍Location: VivoCity Sky Park, Lvl 3
🗓️When: 25th August to 27th September
Time: Lights will be on from 6pm - 10pm

Good to know

· Go after 6pm. The lanterns and inflatables are lit from 6pm to 10pm and the whole thing is a different set of photos in the dark.

· The Sky Park is open air. If it rains there is nowhere up there to shelter properly, so check the sky before you go up.

· Meet-and-greet passes need an $80 single receipt and only the first 30 per session get one. Sort the receipt earlier in the day, not at 6.55pm.

· HarbourFront MRT sits under the mall on the North East and Circle Lines, so this is one of the easier family outings to do without a car.
