Munchi Pistachio Kunafa Is Now Permanent: Here to Stay in 2026

Munchi Pancakes has made its Pistachio Kunafa flavour permanent. The min jiang kueh chain announced in September 2026 that the flavour is "here to stay", about two months after it launched at every outlet on 9 July 2026, and it is still listed on Munchi's own menu.

  1. Why Munchi kept it
  2. What it is, and what it costs
  3. Where to get it

Why Munchi kept it

Munchi's announcement poster is basically a wall of customer comments: "please make it permanent", "so worth it for the amount of fillings", and one person who ate it before taking a photo. That is the whole story. People asked, loudly, and Munchi listened.

It is a bit of a surprise. Dubai chocolate flavours have been everywhere since last year and most brands treat them as a limited run. We covered the original July launch and the full outlet list, and back then no one was betting on it outliving the trend.

What it is, and what it costs

It is a soft min jiang kueh folded around pistachio cream and toasted kunafa, the fine shredded pastry that gives the Dubai chocolate bar its crunch. Munchi lists it in three formats: the Min Jiang Kueh, the Munchi Pancake and the Mini Munchi.

Munchi still does not publish flavour prices online. Customer posts put it at about $2.70 to $2.90 a piece depending on the outlet, so check the counter or order.munchipancakes.com before a big order.

Where to get it

Every Munchi outlet carries it, from hawker centres to malls, plus the counters at Jewel Changi Airport and the Singapore Zoo. The full list with unit numbers is in our launch piece. Permanent does not mean every outlet has it all day, though. Popular flavours still run out by the afternoon.

Good to know

· Get the Mini Munchi if you just want a taste. Same filling, smaller commitment.

· Go before 3pm. Heartland outlets sell out of the popular flavours first.

· Munchi's pickup and delivery site shows what each outlet still has.

· If you liked it, BreadTalk has its own pistachio kunafa shio pan. Munchi's is the cheaper snack.
