MINISO x Zootopia Pop-Up Singapore 2025: The Announcement

What the announcement said

Five days' notice, one address, one warning. The pop-up would sit on Level 1 Central Court at VivoCity, run 29 November to 28 December 2025, and the exclusive free gifts were for 29 November ONLY. That last line was the whole post, really.

We went on opening day and wrote up what was actually on the shelves, prices and the paw pillow included, in our MINISO x Zootopia 2 pop-up visit. This page is the before picture.

What the slides showed, and what they did not

The slides teased Zootopia blind boxes (Nick, Judy and friends in tiny outfits), plush backpacks, figures and a wall of plushies. The free gifts were furry pins, throw pillows and stickers.

Read the small print, though. Most of the photos were credited to Disney, MINISO and other pop-ups, and two slides carried "image for illustration purposes only". So the post told you what was coming, not what VivoCity would look like. That is normal for a pop-up announced before the build is done.

Why Singapore got it

VivoCity was one stop on MINISO's worldwide Zootopia 2 pop-up tour. Marketing-Interactive listed the other Asian sites as Gurugram and Mumbai in India, Central Mall in Jakarta, Sunway Pyramid in Kuala Lumpur, Van Hanh Mall in Ho Chi Minh City and AIRSIDE in Hong Kong, with over 300 products in the collection.

It also landed in a busy MINISO season here. A few weeks earlier it was the BLACKPINK THE GAME collection, and before that Chiikawa's Blazing Summer series at the same mall.
