Minecraft Experience Singapore Recap: Inside Villager Rescue at Mandai

Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue ran at Green Canvas, Mandai Wildlife Reserve, from 24 April to 13 September 2026, and it has now closed. Our first look in March showed what was coming: a projected Minecraft forest, mob fights with glowing handheld blocks, and a pig you could actually sit on.

  3. Is Minecraft Experience still in Singapore?

What the first look showed

We posted this on 2 March, when the official site was still taking waitlist sign-ups. Weekday tickets ended up at $46 for adults and $40 for children. Our full guide from the run has the weekend prices, timeslots and how the 55 minute quest worked.

The rooms were the draw. One was an interactive forest where the walls were floor-to-ceiling projections that reacted to you. Another was the mob battle, where everyone got a light-up block to hold up and swing at zombies and skeletons on the wall. And yes, there was a pink blocky pig you could ride.

About that gold armour line

Our caption said remember to wear gold armour in the nether. Anyone who has played knows why: the piglins leave you alone if you have a piece of gold on. Nobody needed it at Mandai, where the threat was zombies laying siege to a village, but it is still the most useful Minecraft advice there is.

Is Minecraft Experience still in Singapore?

No. The official Singapore page now says the portal to Singapore is closed. On 1 October 2026 the site lists Villager Rescue in Mexico City, American Dream, Chicago, Oberhausen and Vienna, plus a separate outdoor night version called Moonlight Trail in Santiago. There is no announced return to Singapore.

Green Canvas and the rest of Mandai are still there. If the kids are still in a Minecraft mood, Curiosity Cove is the closest thing in the same precinct that does not need a waitlist.
