Think of it as a 1970s-style zi char kitchen dropped into a business park. The menu cover literally says "A Taste of the 1970s Classic", and the dishes lean Malaysian: charcoal Hokkien noodles, mee goreng, belacan kang kong, a Malacca-style signature sauce fish.

How much does a meal cost?
Solo is cheap. Most noodle, hor fun and bee hoon plates are $6 small (1 pax) or $14 medium (2 to 3 pax), with Charcoal Hokkien Noodles at $8.90 / $18.90 and Signature LaLa White Bee Hoon at $7 / $15. Most fried rice is $7 / $14.

Famous JB101 is open 11am to 10pm daily, with the last Eventful booking at 9.30pm. Online bookings take 1 to 8 people. For bigger groups, call the restaurant on 6909 7718.
The deal: 10% off the whole bill on bookings from 5pm to 9.30pm, Monday to Friday. Each of those timings carries 20 discounted bookings. Once they are taken, the timing goes back to standard price, and the discount never runs on public holidays. Lunch and weekends are standard price.
