Stacked Store opened a 2,000 sq ft shop inside IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay on 3 April 2026, at 18 Marina Gardens Drive, #01-23. It is the brand's first proper physical retail space, after years of running online plus a showroom at Delta House on Alexandra Road.
Maximalist. That is the whole brief, and it is unusual enough in Singapore retail to be worth the trip. Where most local home stores sell restraint in beige, this leans into pattern, colour and objects that take up space. The range covers quirky premium home decor and lifestyle pieces from international brands, plus larger furniture and art. If you already know Gardens by the Bay, the other things worth a look around there are in our F1 Exhibition write-up.
The store also carries collectible objects and design keepsakes tied to IMBA's exhibition programme, with in-house collections referencing the artists on show. The first ones referenced Fernando Botero and David Hockney. That is a smarter museum-shop model than the usual tote-and-fridge-magnet setup, because the pieces stand up on their own once the exhibition has moved on.
This is not a discount furniture floor and it does not pretend to be. Treat it as a place to look at objects and buy one small thing, and it is a good hour. Treat it as somewhere to furnish a flat cheaply and you will leave annoyed. Nearest MRT is Gardens by the Bay on the Thomson East Coast Line, which is now much closer than the old Bayfront walk.
· Gardens by the Bay MRT on the TEL is the close entrance. Bayfront is a much longer walk to this end.
· The IMBA-exhibition collections change with the shows, so what is on the shelves in three months will not be this.
· Delta House on Alexandra Road is their older showroom if you want the furniture range rather than the gift-sized pieces.
