LiHO TEA launched its first Thai tea series in February 2026 with three drinks: the Thai Tea Smoothie and the Thai Tea Cloud at $5.90 a cup, and Thai Tea with Brown Sugar Pearl at $5.20. It soft-launched on 3 February at Bugis+, JEM and Seletar Mall, then went to every LiHO outlet on 10 February, under a Chinese New Year banner LiHO called Prosperitea.
Thai Tea Smoothie ($5.90) was LiHO's signature Thai milk tea as an ice blend, with rice mochi inside and a pile of puffed wheat popcorn on top. Thai Tea Cloud ($5.90) layered the same Thai milk tea under a cheese cloud dusted with cocoa powder. Thai Tea with Brown Sugar Pearl ($5.20) was the straightforward one: Thai milk tea over caramelised brown sugar pearls.
Our pick was the smoothie, and we said so in the caption. The popcorn sounds like a gimmick until you get a spoon of it with the blend. LiHO grew out of the old Gong Cha franchise here, a story its founder told us in our LiHO founder interview.
Three malls got it a week early, from 3 February: Bugis+, JEM and Seletar Mall. Everyone else waited for the official launch on 10 February 2026, when it went to all LiHO outlets. On launch day there was also a buy 2 get 1 free on the Thai Tea Cloud.
The timing was not random. Chinese New Year fell on 17 February 2026, and the Prosperitea name and the red and gold artwork were LiHO's way of making a Thai tea launch feel like a festive one.
We could not confirm it on LiHO's own channels when we checked on 5 October 2026, and LiHO rotates its seasonal series quickly. The next big one was a Winnie the Pooh collaboration, which we covered in the LiHO Hunny-licious series. Check the LiHO app before you make a trip for it.
· The smoothie comes with a dome lid for the popcorn. Eat some of the topping first or it spills when you poke the straw in.
· Seasonal LiHO series rotate out without much warning. If you see one you like, do not save it for next week.
· The soft launch only covered Bugis+, JEM and Seletar Mall. Seasonal drinks often land at a few malls first, so check which outlets have them.
