EventfulSG Is Expanding Into Malaysia: Day 1 of 9
We are expanding @eventful_sg into Malaysia. Day one of nine started at Changi Airport on 12 August 2026, and the plan is the boring, useful one: cover Malaysian food and events the same way we cover Singapore's, on the ground, one place at a time.
What we are actually doing
Nine days, posted as they happen, Day 1 of 9 through Day 9 of 9. No launch announcement, no big reveal, just the same job in a different country: find the openings, the queues, the things worth a trip, and film them.
Nothing changes on the Singapore side. The August guide still updates, the drops still run, the deals still get posted. Malaysia is being added, not swapped in.
Why Malaysia, and why it is useful to you
Because a large chunk of our audience already goes. The causeway run is a normal weekend for a lot of Singaporeans, and the honest gap is that most of what gets posted about it is either years old or written by someone who has not been.
