Most people think you need a big budget or perfect plan to build something.
Gotcha Matcha started as a side hustle. A couple who loved matcha, a small stall at a pasar malam, and zero certainty it would work out.
No permanent shop and no stable income at all
The matcha supply at the time was bad, and the quality was inconsistent. And for a long time, they were barely breaking even.
But they kept going. They created drinks nobody else dared to make. They were building a community and not just a customer base
When a mall offered them a space in Woodleigh, they weren’t even sure they were ready.
But they signed it anyway.
Today, they have over 10,000 community members and a permanent store to call home.
The lesson? They didn’t just build a matcha brand. They built it with the people who believed in them first.
This is GOTCHA MATCHA and they serve one of the best matcha we’ve ever had.
